Inclusion & Gender Equality

DCA prides itself on being an equal gender and inclusive employer. We have complied with the governing bodies’ equal gender requirements since they were formally introduced in 2010, previously known as EOWA, and since 2012 WGEA (Workplace Gender Equality Act).

In support of our efforts to ensure diversity and inclusion is an integral part of the way we do business, every year DCA conducts a review into our level of Workplace Gender Equality.

This report is comprised of a workplace profile and questionnaire which is submitted to the Workplace Gender Equality Agency in accordance with the Workplace Gender Equality Act (2012).

DCA has achieved gender equality within our workplace by ensuring that all employees are treated equally and fairly in all aspects of the employment relationship. All employees will have the same opportunities for employment, training and development and promotion within the organisation, without any gender bias.

Equality of opportunity is an essential part of DCA’s strategy and people management. While recognising that all differences are valued, from gender and ethnicity to thinking styles, DCA employment practices ensure that these differences do not lead to discrimination in the workplace. Everyone can be confident that, when they apply for work at DCA or when they are employed, factors which are not relevant to their ability to do their job, will not affect their career.
